Welcome to the Health Informatics Website

The Health Informatics Team was initially established in 1990 as the Institute for Health Informatics. We became part of the School of Health Science, University of Wales Swansea in September 1997.

Our main areas of expertise are Electronic Health Records, Telemedicine, Networking Solutions and the application of Internet technologies to healthcare delivery. An experienced and forward looking team work on a range of leading edge Health Informatics projects giving us a unique advantage in the design, development and implementation of healthcare information and telemedicine solutions.

We are willing to work in partnership with healthcare organisations and information system suppliers to provide its health informatics expertise to a wide range of project & problem areas.
